Do you have a life insurance policy? Have you looked into getting one?
According to a recent piece by Peter Dunn on USA Today’s website, being sufficiently insured is just as important as simply being insured.
“Life insurance isn’t some sort of strange “I’m sorry” award for your family when you pass away. And, while it’s often a windfall, it’s not really meant to create a lottery winner’s lifestyle. Life insurance is meant to fill the financial void created by your absence.”
His article goes on to say that just because you’ve set up a life insurance policy in the past doesn’t mean your loved ones are set. Dunn explains the importance of how much you are insuring. Life changes. Circumstances change.
